Product Care: Down Jacket Maintenance

A well-maintained down jacket can last 15+ years. Here are our recommendations based on testing and customer feedback:
Washing: Machine wash 2–3 times per season using Nikwax Down Wash. Front-loading machines only. Gentle cycle, 30°C. Rinse twice to remove all detergent residue.
Drying: Tumble dry on low heat with 2–3 clean tennis balls. This can take 2–3 hours. The jacket should feel completely dry and lofted before storage.
Storage: Never compress a down jacket for long-term storage. Hang it in a cool, dry closet or use the included cotton storage sack. Compression damages down clusters over time and reduces insulation performance.
