Gear Test: Fjord 45L in Heavy Rain

Took the Fjord 45L on a 3-day coastal route along Lofoten's western shore. Continuous rain on day 2 — approximately 40 mm over 8 hours. The integrated rain cover held up perfectly; contents stayed dry.
The ventilated back panel kept sweat buildup manageable despite wearing a waterproof jacket. Hip belt padding showed no water absorption. Zippers remained smooth throughout.
One note: the front mesh pocket drains slowly when fully soaked. Consider using a dry bag for items stored there in extended wet conditions.
